Albert Mosse


Isaac Albert Moss was a German judge and legal scholar. Mosses importance lies in his work on Japans Meiji Constitution and his continuation of Litthauers Comments on the German Commercial Code.

Mosse was born into a prominent Jewish family in Grtz, in Prussias Grand Duchy of Posen. His father, Dr. Markus Moses, was a noted physician, and the most distinguished of his six brothers was Rudolf Mosse.
